Passed away on Friday, December 12, 2025, James ‘‘Jim’’ Picard of Ottawa, Ontario, at the age of 74. Beloved husband of the late Darquise Malette, he will be sadly missed by his partner Daphyne Miljour. Dear son of the late Howard Picard and the late Lita Salisbury. Loving father of Tanya (Carl Lamarche). Also survived by brothers and sisters, Theresa (late Romuald Dubeau), Joseph (Judy), Martha (late Keith Ramsay), Margaret (late Gilbert Gabie), Richard (Amy), Douglas (Diane), Linda (late George Charron) and John (Helen), many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by one sister Marion (late George Emond).

Tanya, Carl, Daphnee and the family my most sincere condolences on the lost of Jim. He was such a great man who always made family like friends felt at home. I can remember younger always stopping at the cottage on our way up or over summer holidays stopping in to visit, only good memories can come to our mind when it comes to him.
