It brings great sadness to announce the passing of Anne-Marie Verity known as (Amy), on May 12, 2025 at 9:10 a.m., where she wanted to be in her beautiful home and her 3 beautiful dogs, by her side.
Mother of four children Jason (Paulette), Shawna, Allisa and Adam (Tania), she also had 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She also left a man that she loved dearly Jean-Guy.
The moment that you died our hearts were torn in two, one side filled with heartache, the other died with you. We often lie awake at night, when the world is fast asleep, and take a walk down memory lane, with tears upon our cheeks. Remembering you was easy, we do it everyday, but missing you is heartache that never goes away: we hold you tightly within our hearts and there you will remain. Until the joyous day arrives, that we all meet you again…

I would like to send my condolences to all of Anne-Marie’s family. We did not spend a lot of time together, mostly when our family would come to Ottawa or at family reunions. What does stand out for me is Anne-Marie’s warm smile and gentle way. Amy will be missed.

To my nieces and nephews, I am filled with great sadness to learn of the passing of your mother and my big sister, Anne-Marie. I remember all the rights of passages we shared while growing up and all the adventures she would conjure up for us in her quick and witty imagination. Amy was such a beautiful young girl who grew into a loving and caring woman who loved you and your father, Ken and stepfathers, and the many dogs she was always surrounded with. She was truly a unique , multi talented person who had a huge heart that held affection for so many and leaves wonderful memories for all who knew, loved and survive her.
