It is with sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Claire Raymond, nee Ménard, formerly of Plantagenet, Ontario, on Monday, January 6, 2020 at the age of 85 years. Loving wife of the late Jean H. Raymond. Daughter of the late Edmond Ménard and the late Marie-Jeanne Thibault. Survived by her children. Cherished grandmother of 20 grandchildren and great-grandmother of 21 great-grandchildren. She will also be missed by one sister and remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Friends and relatives may visit at Lamarre & Son Funeral Home, 453 St. Philippe Street, Alfred, Ontario, (613) 679-2802, on Sunday, January 12, 2020, from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., Monday from 1 p.m. Funeral Service to be held on Monday, January 13, 2020 at 2:30 p.m. in the Funeral Home’s Chapel, Rev. Pastor Maynard Chant being the  officiating clergyman.

A very special thank you to the staff members of the Caledonia Manor in St. Isidore, for their compassion and devoted care provided to Claire.
