A private interment will be held in the privacy of the immediate family.
Passed away peacefully on October 28, 2024 at the age of 80 years. She was the daughter of the late Gérard Jolicoeur and the late Jeannette Jolicoeur (nee Choquette). She leaves in sadness but with beautiful memories her daughter Joyce Ward Downing (David) and her son Anthony Ward (Julie). Proud and cherished grandmother of Jessica Downing Bigelow (James) and Scott Downing (Solange) and great-grandmother of Connor Bigelow. She also leaves in sorrow her brother Serge Jolicoeur, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her sister Fernande Jolicoeur.
The family would like to say thank you to the Prescott-Russell Residence and the Hawkesbury and District General Hospital for their amazing care provided.
A private interment will be held in the privacy of the immediate family.
In memory of Mrs. Ward, donations to the Dementia Society of Ottawa and Renfrew County would be greatly appreciated.

Sincères condoléances aux enfants de Claudette et aux personnes concernées. Elle était une amie d’enfance avec qui j’allais jouer et faire nos devoirs . Je suis attristée de son décès.
