It is with sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Everett Kennedy of Hawkesbury, Ontario, on Sunday, September 6, 2020, at the age of 80. Husband of Lise Dauth. Son of the late Allan Kennedy and the late Elsie Bigelow. Loving father of Lyne Anne (Pierre Bakx); grandpopa of Vicky. Also survived by brothers and sisters, Jean (Fernand Larocque), Dwight (Karen Bennett), Larry (Sheila MacTavish), Twyla (Pat Bogue) and Lee, many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by one brother, Cyril (Rita Lebar); one sister, Maureen (late Dave Wilkins).
Due to the current circumstances, a Private Family Service will be held on Monday, September 21, 2020 at 3 p.m. in the Lamarre & Son Funeral Home’s Chapel, 453 St. Philippe Street, Alfred, Ontario, (613) 679-2802.
Special thanks to the staff of Champlain Long Term Care Residence, L’Orignal and to the Paramedics for their compassion and devoted care provided to Everett.
For those who wish, donations to the Hawkesbury and District General Hospital Foundation, 1111 Ghislain Street, Hawkesbury, Ontario, K6A 3G5, would be appreciated.

I am so sorry for the loss of your Father and Grandpa. May the memories you hold close to your hearts help to ease the pain of the days ahead. Lyne, your Dad loved you so very much and he was always so proud of Vicky. He would smile anytime he spoke of her. Thank you for letting me take care of him. It was a privilege.
Mr K, I hope your days are filled with music, sucre a la creme, Soft cookies, Coffee with 2 cream and 1 sugar, and of course…….. red jello. I miss you, rest peacefully ❤
