A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at 12 p.m. in the chapel of Lamarre & Son Funeral Home
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of John Olawale Olotu, who passed away on January 31, 2025 at the age of 57. He was the son of the late Solomon Olotu and the late Christiana Fayinto Olotu and the beloved husband to Solange Tamou Olotu. He leaves in sadness but with wonderful memories his son Samuehl Jordan Olotu. He also leaves in sorrow his siblings: Modupe Adeyemi, Olufemi Adeniyi, Esther Elegbede (Sunday), Samuel Olotu and Michael Olotu (Ose), as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, February 8, 2025 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. followed by a ceremony in the chapel at 12 p.m. at Lamarre & Son Funeral Home, 453 St-Philippe Street, Alfred, ON.

A letter will be given to the family by our staff to indicate that you are making this donation.

Bonjour Solange,
C’est avec une grande tristesse que j’ai appris le décès de John. Même si je ne l’ai rencontré qu’une seule fois, à votre mariage, j’ai tout de suite senti la bonté de cet homme et l’amour qu’il te portait à toi et son fils. Je suis en Floride actuellement mais tu peux être certaine que si j’avais été au Québec, je serais allée de serrer très fort. C’est ce que je compte faire quand j’irai voir Michelle à Gatineau. Je pense à toi très fort en ces moments difficiles mais je suis rassurée en sachant que vous êtes bien entourés par tous tes proches.
Chère amie Solange, je tiens à te témoigner nos plus profondes condoléances moi et Danick pour la grande peine qui vous afflige en ce moment toi, ton fils et ta famille. De tout coeur avec toi en ces moments difficiles. Bon Courage xoxoxo
