It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kathleen Paula Johnston of Smith Falls, formerly Curran, Ontario, on Tuesday, May 2nd, 2023, at the age of 67. Beloved wife of the late Kenneth Johnston and daughter of the late Veikko Taipale and Kathleen Harrison. Dear sister of Wayne and Eileen (Danny Whitmore) and aunt to Crystal and Priscilla. Kathy will be sadly missed by her beloved friend Louie, best friend Susan, neighbour Peggy and her sweet little dog Mei-Li. Her extended family, Brian, Carol Ann and Willard will miss her crazy sense of humour, independent nature and fierce stubborn streak.
Many thanks to the caring staff of the ICU at the Queensway Carleton Hospital for the wonderful care given to Kathy during her last days.
