It is with great sadness that the Lalonde and James families inform you of the sudden and unexpected passing of Luc Lionel Lalonde on April 12, 2023 at the age of 65. He was the beloved husband of Juna Merrill James and son of the late Wilfrid Lalonde and the late Rose-Alma Gauthier.
He is survived by his only beloved son, Justin (Laura Macintyre), his cherished grandchildren Jax and Luna Rose, his brothers Roger (late Thérèse) and Omer (Suzanne), his sisters Estelle (late Marcel Desnoyers), Lucille (Ernest Frappier), Rollande (late Normand Lalonde) and Lisette (Benoît Bourgon); his father-in-law Royden James (late Eleanor), his sister-in-law Winnifred (Brian Armstong) as well as several nephews, nieces and friends.
Luc was a very well-known and respected Plantagenet businessman. For more than 40 years, he proudly operated the building materials and hardware business founded by his father in the early 1950s.
A special thank you to the staff of the Hawkesbury General Hospital and the Ottawa Hospital, General Campus for their dedication and the good care provided to Luc.
