The Lapensée family is grieving the loss of Nicole Lapensée formerly of Plantagenet, Ontario, who passed away following a stroke on Friday, May 27, 2022. Dear daughter of the late Joseph Lapensée and the late Laurette Tierney. Beloved wife of the late Réjean Bélanger. She is survived by her sister Lise (late Francis Dervin) and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Predeceased by her brothers and sisters, Marie-Marthe (late Donald McDonnell), Jean-Marie, Marcelle (late Patrick Downs), Laurent (late Thérèse Bélanger), Agathe, Monique (late Jacques Beauchemin), Gilles (late Jeannine Lemieux), Marguerite-Marie, Robert (late Louise Legault) and Jacques (Micheline Lefebvre).
A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, June 9, 2022 at 3 p.m. at St. Paul Church, Plantagenet, followed by interment at parish cemetery. The family would like to extend an invitation to family and friends to meet them at the church before the funeral from 2 p.m.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the paramedics and the medical team at the Ottawa Hospital General Campus, especially to Dr. Hasimja.
