It is with sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Philippe ‘‘Phil’’ Emond of Alfred, formerly of Rockland, Ontario, surrounded by his family, on Monday, August 7, 2023, at the age of 76. Beloved husband of Lorraine Gourgon. Dear son of the late Gérard Emond and the late Laura Giguère. Loving father of Jason (Jennifer Pickersgill). Cherished grandfather of Merrick and Adina. Also survived by his brothers and sisters, Moe (Julie-Ann), Robert (Debbie), Ricky (Sue), Denis (Judy), Claudette ‘‘Cookie’’ (Sheryl), Gisèle (John) and Mark and many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Predeceased by one brother, Mike.
