Celebration of Life Gathering

at St. Mary’s Hall, 1170 Smith Road, Navan, Ontario

It is with sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Ronald ‘‘Square’’ Elliott.  Ronald passed away with family by his side, on Saturday, October 5, 2019, at the age of 72.  Dear son of the late Hugh Hazelwood Elliott and the late Euna Anna Ormond; brother of the late William, late Donald ‘‘Ormond’’ and Hazelwood Robert (Brenda Hull).  Also survived by nieces and nephews.

There will be a Celebration of Life Gathering, on Saturday, October 26, 2019, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. at St. Mary’s Hall, 1170 Smith Road, Navan, Ontario.

A special thank you to the staff at St. Mathieu Residence, Hammond, and to the nursing staff at Montfort Hospital for their compassion and devoted care they showed Ronald.

For those who wish, in lieu of flowers, donations to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute Foundation, 40 Ruskin Street, Room H2408, Ottawa, Ontario, K1Y 4W7, would be appreciated.

      Very surprised & saddened to hear of Ron’s passing. A flood of memories come rushing back to me of the farm at Blackburn.

      Ron and I became friends at the Royal Canadian Legion, shared many stories as well as Bud Lights . Thanks for the memories buddy. RIP
