It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ronnie Seguin, who passed away peacefully with family members by his side on June 30, 2026, at the age of 84. He was the son of the late J. Henri Seguin and the late Annabel Seguin (née MacGregor).
He leaves behind his beloved wife of nearly 63 years, Betty Seguin (nee Robinson); his loving daughters, Beverley Seguin (Tim Davis) and Kimberly Seguin (Claude Drolet); his cherished granddaughter, Amy Couture (Chad St. Martin); and his treasured great-granddaughter, Maxine Couture-Reynolds.
He is also survived by his siblings, Richard Seguin (Danielle Lavigne), Gerry Seguin, and Lynn Sowa (David), as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will miss him dearly.
Ronnie leaves us with many fond memories, loads of wisdom and an incredible demonstration of tenacity and determination, especially in his later years.
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of the Prescott-Russell Residence for their exceptional compassion and the excellent care they provided to Ronnie during his stay.
Please come join us to celebrate Ronnie on Tuesday, July 21, 2026 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm at Lamarre & Son Funeral Home.
A private family burial will be held thereafter.

Sincères condoléances à toute la famille Séguin avec qui je suis parente du côté de ma mère, Léona Denis. Mes parents, Georges Labrèche et Léona Denis, ont acheté en 1947 la ferme des grands-parents de Ronald (Ronnie) Séguin, Thimothée Séguin, père de Henri Séguin. Je me souviens de la famille Séguin et des produits Laval (trayeuses, etc.) dont ils assuraient le commerce. Sympathies particulières à Gérald (Gerry) avec qui j’ai étudié à l’école du village de Fournier et à Lynn, la petite dernière qui était devenue une belle grande jeune fille la dernière fois que je l’ai vue. Sincères condoléances aussi à Richard et à la famille immèdiate de Ronald (Ronnie). Qu’il repose en paix après une vie bien remplie.

Our deepest condoléances…Betty, I was so saddened to hear the news…I know that Ronnie was in Hawkesbury and not in great shape…Gee, what I loved the most, was when I would stop by your driving range to practice and also only to have a chat with Ronnie…we would talk about the good old days when his father Henri, a good friend of my father, both of them from Founier, would meet at the store in the village…later on, Henri had rented a chalet in L’Orignal from a Dr. Laviolette just beside my father’s cottage…there, we had fun!!! I will miss Ronnie because he was one of the only ones that remembered my father and his family from Fournier. I also want to let Kim know that Jo-anne remembers you very well and she deeply sends her condoleances to you!!!
