It is with sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Sandra Lalonde, nee McPhee, of Plantagenet, Ontario. Sandra passed away with family by her side on Monday, April 19, 2021, at the age of 76. Beloved wife of the late Bernard Lalonde. Daughter of the late Archie McPhee and the late Jessie Ryan. Dear mother of the late Daniel, Joel (Lisa Lamothe) and Rachelle (Stéphane Lalonde). Cherished Mamie of Emily, Jacob and Alexia. Also survived by two brothers, Aloyus (late Rena Ryan) and Al (husband by first marriage to the late Marina Robinson and by second marriage to Lois Gottselig). She will be fondly remembered by many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased one brother, Les (Sue Lefebvre).
Due to the current circumstances, a Private Family Liturgy of the Word will be held on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. in the Lamarre & Son Funeral Home’s Chapel, 453 St. Philippe Street, Alfred, Ontario, (613) 679-2802. For those who wish, by clicking the ‘‘Live Stream’’ button on Mrs. Lalonde’s page, you will have access to the Celebration that will be live streamed on the date and time identified above. Interment at St. Paul Cemetery, Plantagenet.
