It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Yvette Proulx of Hawkesbury, born in St. Eugene, Ontario, on Sunday, September 22, 2024, at the age of 75. Beloved wife of the late Serge Proulx. Dear daughter of the late George Séguin and the late Rose-Marie Sabourin. Loving mother of France (Ainsley Archer) and Renée (David Lamarche). Cherished grandmother of Adam, Alexandra and Hadassa Jane Archer, Elizabeth and Catherine Lamarche. Also survived by one brother Jean-Guy (Nicole Lemay), many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by one sister Jeanne d’Arc (late Ubald Bédard) and two brothers, Rhéal (Jacqueline Lacombe) and Yvon (Cécile Doth).
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at 2:30 p.m. at St. Eugene Church, St. Eugene. The family would like to extend an invitation to family and friends to meet them at the church before the funeral from 1:30 p.m.
A special thank you to the staff of the Villa St. Luc for their special attention and devoted care to our mother.

Ma mère Marie-Reine m’a appris dimanche dernier que votre chère maman vous avait quitté. J’ai rencontré votre maman en personne il y a très longtemps chez mon grand-père Arthur. Par contre, je recevais depuis des années de ses nouvelles presqu’à toutes les semaines à travers ma mère. L’amitié entre votre maman et ma mère était si précieuse et unique. Lors de son séjour à la résidence de Curran, je désire souligner sa bonté à l’égard de ma mère qui y résidait également.
