It is with sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Yvon Desjardins of Alfred, formerly of Ottawa, Ont., on Thursday, December 13, 2018, at the age of 64 years. Beloved husband of Line Dupuis, loving father of Patrick (Nadia Brousseau) and cherished Paps of Xavier and Mikaëlle. Also survived by his sister, Joceline (Bill Rivers), three nieces and one nephew. Predeceased by his father-in-law, Rhéal Dupuis.
A Liturgy of the Word will be held in the Lamarre & Son Funeral Home’s Chapel, 453, St. Philippe Street, Alfred, Ont., (613) 679-2802, privately at a later date.

C’est avec tristesse que nous venons d’apprendre le décès de M. Desjardins je veut souhaité a la famille nos plus sincères condoléances.
Toutes mes sincères condoléances à Patrick, Nadia, Mikael, Xavier et la famille proche. J’ai connu monsieur Desjardins quand Patrick et Nadia habitait à Lasalle. Je me souviens qu’il était souriant et surtout attentionné à ses petits enfants Xavier et Mikael. Je le trouvais très sympathique et simple avec qui jaser. Repose en paix monsieur Desjardins.
